As a new day trader you should never lose sight of the fact that you are competing with professional traders on Wall Street and other experienced traders around the world who are very serious, highly equipped with advanced education and tools, and most importantly, committed to making money. Day trading is not gambling or a hobby. You must approach trading very, very seriously. As such, I wake up early, go for a run, take a shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, and fire up my trading station before the markets open in New York. I am awake. I am alert. While this books is full of specific, practical material to hone your trading skills it also contains a wealth of information on the lifestyle and psychology of trading. This makes "How to Day Trade for a Living" indispensable for anyone looking to get into this vocation. Unlike the typical "get rich quick" YouTube marketers, aspects of trading and he does that very early in the book. Like other reviewers I was a little turned off by the pitch to join Bear Bull Traders online community. While it is something I'm open to in the future I'm yet to join. Having read other trading psychology books I realize that a good community can aid one's resilience and significantly increase your chances of success. What really distinguishes from others in this crowded day trading space is his ability to teach. I've recommended this book to friends and I'm sure you'll find it to be very helpful in your day trading journey. Good luck!
