But as she tackles the complex equations, she falls prey to disturbing visions of a divine being who wants to help her unveil the universe’s mathematical design. Joan must enter the battle between science and religion, fighting for her sanity and a new understanding of the cosmos.

Acerca del autor

Mark Alpert is a contributing editor at Scientific American and the author of several science-oriented thrillers for adults: Final Theory, The Omega Theory, Extinction, The Furies, and The Orion Plan. The Six was his first science thriller for young adults. He lives with his wife and two teenage kids in New York City.

Jesse Vilinsky is an accomplished voice actor and improviser. She received her bachelor’s degree in theatre from the University of Southern California and trained and performed with the prestigious British American Drama Academy in London. An alumnus of The Second City Training Center in Hollywood, she co-wrote and performed in two acclaimed original sketch comedy shows there. She has lent her voice to numerous projects, and she relishes any opportunity to breathe life into a character.
