I thought this had an interesting story overall. However, the story was predictable at some points, and the overall theme a little generic. I wish Cinder had a little more character development besides her depression over being a cyborg, and the abuse from her stepmother. I also had a hard time sensing chemistry between the prince and Cinder throughout the story.

I absolutely love this book and look forward to reading the whole series. I like it so much that I want to read more every chance I get, but I try to only read them at work so I have something to listen to. But it's just so good that I can't wait to go back to work on Monday just to get to the second book in the series. And let me tell you, I have a very boring and tiring job so that's saying something. I love the sci Fi in it and how well detailed it is, as well as the romance that keeps you hooked. very great book. Tho I do have to say, if there wasn't more to the series, the end of the books cliff hanger would have made me go mad with wondering what happened after that.
