A story of magic, romance, and art. I listened to this non-stop except for a brief sleep. I was enchanted by the descriptions and flow of the story. Completely enraptured and enamored by both the author and reader of this book - best read I've had in a long, long time.

The moments between Rook and Isabelle were so tender and amusing. My favorite scenes were centered around the development of their affection specifically in the parlor during the commission, very lovely. I also appreciate that her hard practiced talent became and was her power. Thank you , will read again. 😊
