Captivating storyline, well written and well read. Unfamiliar names made the characters a little confusing, but this small frustration didn't outweigh the better aspects.

a mulan retelling which I haven't seen too many of. Worth reading and/or listening to if you enjoy retellings.

I love retellings, and Dragon Rising did not disappoint. It was exciting and I could not put it down!
