About the author

Lewis Carroll (1832-1898) was an English logician, mathematician, photographer, and novelist who is especially remembered for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel, Through the Looking-Glass.

Frances Hodgson Burnett (1849–1924) was an English-American author and playwright. She is best known for her incredibly popular novels for children, including Little Lord Fauntleroy, A Little Princess, and The Secret Garden.

The Brothers Grimm were Jacob Ludwig Karl Grimm (1785–1863) and Wilhelm Carl Grimm (1786–1859) who were German academics, philologists, cultural researchers, lexicographers and authors who together collected and published folklore during the 19th century. They were among the first and best-known collectors of German and European folk tales.
