This should not be listed as a children's audio book, google please fix this. Anyone who is just looking for children's books, this is not it! The absolute roller-coaster of emotions this book brings is insane not to mention the character development which is top notch. There aren't any truly one dimensional characters but that also leads to serious emotional and psychological content. Prepare yourself!

About the author

Lauren Destefano won The Thornton Wilder Award for a short story entitled Orange Blood while in high school. She received a BA in English with a concentration in creative writing from Albertus Magnus College in Connecticut in 2007. She is the author of the Chemical Garden Trilogy.
