Alani Nicole "La La" Anthony was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1979. She is a radio and television personality, author, business woman and actress. In the early 2000s, La La came to prominence as an MTV VJ on Total Request Live. La La can currently be seen in the Starz original drama series, Power.In 2014 La La reprised her role as Sonia in the film Think Like a Man Too and recently wrapped production on November Rule and Destined," both due for release in 2015. Her book The Power Playbook: Rules for Independence, Money and Success made The New York Times Best Seller List in 2015.
