Ratings and reviews

Tries to re-write history. As if he wasn't shot down for defying orders and flying too low, didn't willingly give up info, so much so that other POWs and the enemy both referred to him as "the songbird", was never tortured, and when he came home and got power, teamed up with John Kerry to stand in the way of The House & Senate approving/funding committees dedicated to looking for POWs worldwide. Claiming we got them all already. Then approved a select few that allowed him/kerry to control them.

He's a crook and is full of himself. Tries to come off as the hero he is not.

A wonderful read and truthful. He does not mince his words which I very much admire of him. He truly is an American hero.

About the author

Senator John McCain (1936—2018) entered the Naval Academy in June of 1954. He served in the United States Navy until 1981. He was elected to the US House of Representatives from Arizona in 1982 and to the Senate in 1986. He was the Republican Party’s nominee for president in the 2008 election. He is the author of Faith of My Fathers, Worth Fighting For, Why Courage Matters, Character Is Destiny, Thirteen Soldiers, and The Restless Wave.
