About the author

James W. Sire (1933-2018) was a widely respected apologist, author, and lecturer who worked for more than thirty years as senior editor at InterVarsity Press. His many books include Naming the Elephant, Apologetics Beyond Reason, Habits of the Mind, and The Universe Next Door, which has sold over 350,000 copies.

David Cochran Heath has voiced characters for computer games and public television, hosted an instructional video series for automotive repair, and was the narrator for a long-running radio program for kids. He has recorded over 140 books, including three versions of the Bible as sole reader: ESV, KJV, and NIrV.
