Ratings and reviews

A wonderful and encapsulating mix of historical and science fiction. The author has a great ability to make each character memorable a sympathetic. However, there is in my opinion a large amount of unecasarally graphic sexual content in these books that seems shoe horned in. I'm no prude but it's just uncomfortable and out of place That is what cost it the fifth star.

Harry Turtledove is an award-winning fantasy and science fiction writer. Publishers Weekly has called him the "Master of Alternate History." Turtledove's works include the Crosstime Traffic, Worldwar, Darkness, and Opening of the World series. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Laura, and their four daughters.

Todd McLaren was involved in radio for more than twenty years in cities on both coasts. He left broadcasting for a full-time career in voice-overs, where he has been heard on more than 5,000 TV and radio commercials, as well as TV promos, narrations for documentaries on such networks as A&E and the History Channel, and films.
