Dare I say better then book 1? Although book 1 was a 5/5. Since we have already established the world and the characters, the plot in book two hits the ground running. So much character development! You question whose side you are on every other chapter. The little sprinkle of romance sweetens the deal. The side character romance (no spoilers) had me melting. Absolutely loved this book. I CAN NOT wait for book 3.

Evan has always loved fantasy novels, but when his son was born, he realized that there weren't many epic fantasy novels featuring characters who looked like him.
