About this audiobook

Fearless takes you deep into SEAL Team Six, straight to the heart of one of it's most legendary operators. When Navy SEAL Adam Brown woke up on March 17, 2010, he didn't know he would die that night in the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan--but he was ready. In a letter to his children, not meant to be seen unless the worst happened, "I'm not afraid of anything that might happen to me on this Earth, because I know no matter what, nothing can take my spirit from me.But long before Adam Brown became a member of the elite SEAL Team Six--the counter terrorism unit that took down Osama bin Laden--there was a fun-loving country boy from Arkansas whose greatest goal had been to wear his high school's football jersey. An undersized daredevil, prone to jumping off roofs into trees and off bridges into lakes, Adam was a kid who broke his own bones but would never break a promise to his parents, until he grew older, and his family watched that appetite for risk draw him into a downward spiral that eventually landed him in jail.FEARLESS is the story of a man of extremes, whose determination was fueled by faith, family, and the love of a woman. It's about a man who waged a war against his own worst impulses and persevered to reach the top tier of the U.S. military. Always the first to volunteer for the most dangerous assignments, Adam's final act of bravery led to the ultimate sacrifice.FEARLESS is the intimate story of a devoted man who was an unlikely hero but a true warrior, described by all who knew him as just that--fearless.

Very enjoyable book to listen to. I disagree with those other commenters who did not appreciate the voice of the reader when he spoke in a feminine voice or with a southern accent. Personally I liked the voices. The reason I only rated this book 4 stars is because of the theological inaccuracy. The act of becoming a Christian is not to ask Jesus into your heart, as the book eludes. The truth is, the phrase "ask Jesus into your heart" appears nowhere in the Bible at all. The truth is, to become a Christian one must repent of sin putting their faith in Jusus' substitutionary death on the cross for the forgiveness of their sins.

One of the most incredible stories I have ever read about. I have recommended this book to almost everyone I know. Even if you aren't into military history type genre's this is an amazing personal triumph story that will inspire you beyond measure. It have read this book at least 5 times and the first book I ever read in 1 day. I hope you read this because his story is absolutely amazing. I just bought the audio version of this for a long road trip, I have to say the narration is bad, the narrator tries to imitate a women's voice and it's awful. Please re-record this and just read it normally. It really ruins the story. Sorry I don't want to be rude or mean but I know how good this story is and it makes it very hard to get into the story when I am cringing over the voices.

This is a great book, but the man reading the audiobook is annoying when he tries to read in a fake southern accent and trying to sound like a woman at times.
