About this audiobook

Sometimes love needs a second time around. Get swept up in this story of a woman finding someone when she is finally ready to love again.

Marriage is an experience that single mom Joanna Parsons doesn’t plan to repeat, no matter what her daughter thinks. Tanner Lund feels the same way. Like Joanna, he got divorced after a short, disastrous marriage, and he’s raising his daughter alone. But the girls have other plans in mind—and it involves the best friends becoming sisters. Both Tanner and Joanna are determined to avoid marriage, yet there’s no resisting their growing attraction…

Audiobook review: Overall – 4 Performance – 4 Story – 4 Classic Debbie Macomber This book was first published in 1989 so I was surprised that it didn’t feel too dated when I listened to it. I probably first read this book over 25 years ago; I was quite surprised when the basics of the story came back to me very quickly after starting to listen to the audiobook. It was cute how the two BFFs conspired to get their parents to get with each other. Of course, it was kind of hate-at-first-sight for the parents but that was quickly turned around. This was a enjoyable story to listen to that didn’t take much concentration so I was able to multi-task while I listened to it. The narrator, Carly Robins, is new-to-me but I thought she did a pretty good job. At the end of Your and Mine, there’s a bonus story from Brenda Novak, Home for the Holidays, which is a bit of a teaser for an upcoming book in her Whiskey Creek series, When I found You. A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me at my request but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.
