Ratings and reviews

I am surprised that readers found this book boring. Dan Brown's characters interweave mystery, science, and plot that kept me wanting more. The fact that the main character was one of the professors former students was a significant clue that his discovery was one to challenge church, atheist, agnostics and the professor himself.

typical Dan Brown book he is a master at setting a scene and it makes you feel like you are being whisked away to some magical European place. But at this point the Robert Langdon series is extremely predictable and somewhat tired at this point. However even as predictable as it is it is still somewhat entertaining

Wanted more science. The premise was great but the entire book was a cliffhanger, expressed in an elaborate chase for about 80% of the book. It would have been nice to be introduced to the science that was revealed at the end a bit earlier so we could imagine the dynamics of that science in affect. Would have liked to fast forward thru some development of the theory and simulations.
