“Bracing new revelations.” – Brian Williams
“Bombshell reporting.” – David Muir

The true story of what took place in Donald Trump’s White House during a disastrous 2020 has never before been told in full. What was really going on around the president, as the government failed to contain the coronavirus and over half a million Americans perished? Who was influencing Trump after he refused to concede an election he had clearly lost and spread lies about election fraud? To answer these questions, Phil Rucker and Carol Leonnig reveal a dysfunctional and bumbling presidency’s inner workings in unprecedented, stunning detail.

Focused on Trump and the key players around him—the doctors, generals, senior advisers, and Trump family members— Rucker and Leonnig provide a forensic account of the most devastating year in a presidency like no other. Their sources were in the room as time and time again Trump put his personal gain ahead of the good of the country. These witnesses to history tell the story of him longing to deploy the military to the streets of American cities to crush the protest movement in the wake of the killing of George Floyd, all to bolster his image of strength ahead of the election. These sources saw firsthand his refusal to take the threat of the coronavirus seriously—even to the point of allowing himself and those around him to be infected. This is a story of a nation sabotaged—economically, medically, and politically—by its own leader, culminating with a groundbreaking, minute-by-minute account of  exactly what went on in the Capitol building on January 6, as Trump’s supporters so easily breached the most sacred halls of American democracy, and how the president reacted. With unparalleled access, Rucker and Leonnig explain and expose exactly who enabled—and who foiled—Trump as he sought desperately to cling to power.

A classic and heart-racing work of investigative reporting, this book is destined to be read and studied by citizens and historians alike for decades to come.

As disturbing as it is hilarious at times. I don't do books very often, but this one was a must read upon release. The hilarity of seeing just how intellectually inept the man is pales in comparison to how disturbingly delusional he is in the same breath. News coverage we knew bits and pieces regarding much of the material covered here. However, to hear it come straight from the mouths of the parties involved as the authors have compiled, you are less and less horrified of just how much worse the subject matter gets as the year progresses. However, you know the outcome, and the further the book progresses, you find yourself amazed with anticipation to see the entire regime fall flat on their face. General Mark Milley is truly a hero for standing up to the former Commander In Chief for his efforts to politicize the military. You also gain a sliver of respect back for William Barr at times.

Another biased hit piece with little other than Trump Derangenement Syndrome to cite as evidence. The true optics of unbiased perspective over time will not give such biased perspective from the left and its public face the media such fair treatment. That is if a dispassionate and unbiased point of view are ever allowed to exist in America again.

Oh. When I saw the curve of the ballet calculation during the election night. When I saw most of the swing states stopped counting in the middle of the night I knew there must be some groups of people teamed up to cheat in the election. It doesn’t need to be told by Donald Trump. I believe what I saw. I was the top science student in my school when I was younger. My math has always been top 1% in thousands of kids which were the same grade in my school. I believe it was a fraudulent election. Why the Democrats overreact so hard if they really believes that there were no cheating going on? When someone fights so hard to stop others to look into something doesn’t belong to them It means they are hiding something from us. Common sense. There are more than 50% of people believes some kind of fraudulent happened in the 2020 election. Why stop people from digging the truth? Does Democrats still represent we the people ? I strongly doubt it. I want to know the whole truth. Who gave the order to those swing states to stop counting for ballots?
