About this audiobook

“The most memorable contribution to this year’s American political literature, however, was not a printed book. The Trump Tapesis an audio collection that offers a passport to the heart of darkness.” —The Guardian

“An uncharacteristic warning from one of the most respected, non-partisan journalists in the world” —Jake Tapper, CNN

“It was riveting. I couldn’t get enough of it.” —Gayle King, CBS Mornings

The Trump Tapes explodes with the exclusive, inside story of Trump’s performance as president—in his own words as he is questioned, even interrogated by Woodward, on the president’s key responsibilities from managing foreign relations to crisis management of the coronavirus pandemic.

This is the job Trump seeks again. How did he do the first time? This is the authentic answer, laying bare his repeated failures, obsessions, and grievances.

The Woodward interviews take a reader to a reporter’s laboratory meticulously examining the Trump presidency like never before—spellbinding and devastating.

*Including all 27 letters between President Trump and North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un

Greatest book! This book continues to be a chilling tale. You get to hear Trump's own words that are telling of a desperate man clinging to air, hot air. It is Trump telling his own tragic story of self-destruction. He is his own worst enemy and our Country's. Thank you, Bob, for your patience and many attempts to help him and us.

Rambling babbling repetitive bull$#it—but that’s the point. Bob expertly exposes trumps numerous personality disorders. The first minute says “I edited out hours of repetition and babbling. What was left was twelve hours of repetitive nonsense and distractions by shiny objects. Live, being recorded for the sake of history he hands over top secrets “cause I like you” and callously asks South Korea why we should allow them to continue to exist without paying protection money. Terrifying.

Woodward was absolutely correct. reading a book can't possibly have the same impact as hearing Trump I'm his own voice. I am surprised that America was able to survive 4 years of this narcissistic president. This should be required listening in any political science class.
