Ratings and reviews

Awful narration. Monotone the entire time, with many voice-over sections that were completely obvious. Ella isn't "licensed" to carry a gun, yet in Book 1 she carries a gun; one of a couple parts that didn't match with the first book of the series.

The narration is terrible. The reader has both a pronounced vocal fry and is monotone. After an hour in I still had no idea what was happening in the book because I couldn't get into the story. I feel like this is a much better read than listen.

Narrator is awful. She just literally reads with no intonation. And I don't understand how Mia is treating Ella's as if she blew it on the last case, when she encouraged Ella to listen to her own instincts. Not sure I'd I can finish. (It's as if the author has so many series going, he forgets?)
