I gave him five stars for the first three books of his I read: dark matter, recursion, and upgrade. but I got 34% of the way into abandoned and still found no discernible plot as it jumped in a scatterbrained way between different points and time and characters that seemed cartoonishly simple and impossible to connect with. on top of that there are smatterings of gratuitous sex and violence which serve no purpose. better luck next time Blake.

Intense, edge of your seat reading... Blake crouch is one of my favorite authors and he did not disappoint with this novel. Do yourself a favor and read it!
