About this audiobook

This engrossing piece of undercover reportage is a New York Times best-seller. With nearly a million copies in print, Nickel and Dimed is a modern classic that deftly portrays the plight of America's working-class poor. Author Barbara Ehrenreich decides to see if she can scratch out a comfortable living in blue-collar America. What she discovers is a culture of desperation, where workers often take multiple low-paying jobs just to keep a roof overhead.

An insightful book into the plight of the working poor that is as relevant today as when it was written. As someone who has spent years as a low wage factory worker, I can tell you the stories and experiences are quite genuine and told from a very human perspective. Great book and an easy read.

This is the absolute most boring and worst book I have ever read. Even if you ignore the complete liberal propaganda this book is, it's just mindlessly boring.
