About this audiobook

The Hound of the Baskervilles is the third of the four crime novels written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle featuring the detective Sherlock Holmes. Originally serialised in The Strand Magazine from August 1901 to April 1902, it is set largely on Dartmoor in Devon in England's West Country.

Arguably the most well known of the Sherlock Holmes mysteries, The Hound of the Baskervilles pits the Detective against a cold and implacable foe on the inhospitable and lethal moor. He must protect the life of his client; Sir Henry Baskerville and also to uncover the truth behind the strange and inexplicable death of Sir Henry's predecessor and uncle. Is there really a mythical hound hunting down members of the family as the ancient legends suggest? Or is the intelligence arrayed against Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson of flesh and blood?
