Ratings and reviews

Story is great, but narration is rather unexceptional. The high-pitch voices used for Raphtalia and other female characters is really squeaky and the sentence pacing is a bit shaky, with frequent unnatural pauses mid-phrase (e.g. "Standing.... before the shopkeep"). It really doesn't feel as though they invested enough time & money into the production. I bought this after finishing the volumes currently available from Yen Audio and it was a VERY noticeable drop in production quality. I'm sure the narrator was doing his absolute best, but I'm just not sure he was the right choice. All that said, I'll probably still buy and listen to the next volume - if they ever do decide to produce it.
