Alejandro Danois was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and now lives in Baltimore, Maryland. He is editor-in-chief of the Shadow League and a freelance sports and entertainment writer whose work has been published by the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Ebony magazine, among other publications.

Prolific audiobook narrator Mirron Willis has won several AudioFile Earphones Awards and an Audie Award. An accomplished actor, he has appeared on stage, in films, and on television.
