This is a fast-paced story that starts with a great hook and effortlessly captured and held my interest. I love the characters in this series. Tru is clever, loyal, and brave. The Executioner may be a scary alpha werewolf, but he turns out to be so much more than just a cold-blooded killer. And we are introduced to several new characters I really liked. There’s an element of found family here, which I love. Alyse Gibbs did a great job with narration. Good pacing and voices.

NARRATER DOES A FINE JOB.EASY TO LISTEN TO FOR THE WHOLE STORY IN ONE LISTEN.READ THE WHOLE KIRA FAIRWOOD SEIRIES BEFORE STARTING THIS ONE, IF YOU WANT SOUP -TO NUTS. I WAS REALLY FORTUNATE TO GET ADVANCED COPIES OF THE EBOOK AND AUDIOBOOK AND I ENJOYED THEM BOTH A LOT, BUT BECAUSE OF CATARACTS, LISTENING IS MUCH EASIER FOR ME. BUT I CAN RECOMMEND EITHER FORMAT
