This is a full-featured music player which is very easy to use. I especially like the ability to ignore folders, such as MP3 files which are ringtones or voice recordings. You can create playlists, or you can just select certain tracks and use the "play selected" function. You can even drag songs to a different order in the playing queue. The music lists can be refreshed to reflect additions/deletions in the actual music folders, and empty folders are not shown. I also like that it does not try to deal with cloud storage or update metadata from the Internet. One bug I found is that Genres are not refreshed. If you edit the metadata on a PC, for example, then delete all the folders in PowerAudio Pro and they copy the edited tracks to the phone again, Genres which were detected on the first read and now no longer exist in any track are not deleted. Clicking on one of these "phantom" Genres shows no tracks, of course. It seems the Genre view "refresh" circle should update this list and delete empty Genres. The second bug is that, if a MP3 track is played from My Files, PowerAudio Pro resumes a playing queue instead of playing the single track and returning to My Files.

This is very disappointing to purchase. I do not understand why apps like this get high ratings. I do not like the appeal of it. I would want a repeat button to start playing the songs, but it is the shuffle button that begins the round. Also, the interface can use much improvements. Equalizer is not really the many decibels that it says. Volume is not really picking up the loudness as much as other music players. Basically, there is too much physical appearance of functionality.

I download it because it was free and I need a better app to replace my samsung music app. I thought it could a lot more because it is a "pay" pro version, but it didn't. It doesn't give you a lot of the option when scrolling thru the songs, artists, and albums. Same thing when changing the theme/skin. The only good thing about this app is the Equalizer where you can freely adjust it and no annoying ads. So 2 star only. If you just need the Equalizer go for the free version don't waste your $
