About this app

This APP is a demo of the open source machine learning project TensorZoom-TF which use the Tensorflow to train an artificial neural network to scale up an image into a four time larger image with minimal distortion.

TensorZoom-TF is an open source project. Check the website to get more detail to get the source code and train your own super-resolution model. The model can be imported into the APP to test your result.

Not 'better' than "Enlarge and Correct" or "BigJPG". After a small amount of zoom it uses a random pattern that in NO WAY simulates a larger version of the image. Because it's a Demo you can't even save the result. Seems to have no purpose other than to demonstrate that the author has written the algorithm for ARM platform, and that the algorithm isn't "good" nor better than non-superresolution alternatives.

This is an amazing app. I think there should be an option to zoom out, while keeping a higher resolution (sometimes I want to see what an entire image would look like at level 2). Also, every 3 levels a black boundary appears.

It's a nice idea. Unfortunately, regardless of which option I choose, I am just given the cat demo. This demo still leaves a lot to be desired, but as the network trains, I'm sure it will get better. For now I can get better results with a few keystrokes in Photoshop.
