Look, the content is top notch. What hurts the apps viability is it's lack of responsiveness for a touch screen. It feels like the contact areas for registering clicks are much smaller than anything else on the phone. It was only an issue within the app. On all other apps, my phone is incredibly responsive to touch screen input. While good content is present, the responsiveness to a single tap shouldn't feel like 2000-era AOL free trials with the uncertainty of "did I or didn't I click"

The content is great. Seriously, stop whining about paywalls and just get a year's subscription. It's cheaper than dinner out. The app is ok. It works well enough. It does what it needs to do without any distractions. The video player is hot garbage. It's not responsive, and is missing features that any respectable player should have. This feels like something that came out a decade or more ago, when people were amazed by the fact that videos played on your phone at all.

The variety of instructors is amazing, so many styles and so detailed. No book or website comes close to the level of fine detail. From Kinoko explaining how a simple twist of a rope improves a knot's aesthetic and functionality, Ana Bones lecturing for half an hour about a single column to Tamandua pleasantly and patiently lecturing about rope while their ropebunny squirms in agony at the predicament scenes. It has been my top Shibari experience so far
