Home Decorators Collection introduces Shade App to compliment their latest innovation in cellular shade motorization. Seamlessly communicate with your cellular shades utilizing the Bluetooth communication in your smartphone or tablet. With a motorized Home Decorators Collection cellular shade from The Home Depot, you have the option to control shades with the touch of a button or program them to automatically move to custom positions based on schedules you create.

* Initial calibration is a snap with step-by-step instructions that walk users through the process of setting upper, lower and favorite shade positions specific your window sizes.

* Using Bluetooth to communicate, control motorized Home Decorator Collection cellular shades individually or in groups.* Program your shades by weekday & weekends (simple mode) or by individual day (advanced mode) with up to 6 events per day.

Ratings and reviews

The app is extremely buggy. Initial set up wasn't terrible, but when you need to go back in to make changes it often won't connect to the shades. It stopped connecting to 1 of my 3 shades this week... I tried to delete then pair it again and it simply won't work. So I figured I'd try deleting the app and starting from scratch. Now it won't pair with any of my shades. I've followed all pairing instructions to the T. I'll see if I have luck with my wife's phone. Terrible app.

Constantly had to fight connecting shade with phone app bluetooth.Then I tried using and old phone that I no longer use as a phone. Clean android setup with wifi connection and only connecting a few household Bluetooth devises. This seems to work much better. This phone is usually off and only turn it on to control certain devises when needed. Now connects to the shades reliably and right away. Use shade remote for daily control and only use phone app when calibrating or scheduling.

Great concept! Love the shades! Fairly easy to set up motor. Downside: I got them working on my phone, then either they lose connection, or calibration of them just disappear from my phone. So l redo it and then I have multiple shades of the same shade. If I delete one of them, they all get deleted and I have to start all over. Very frustrating. The app needs so work. The features of the app are fine but it needs some major updating.
