Ratings and reviews

-Using as a Podcast app is a miserable experience. It will not save your spot in an episode so if you don't finish that listening session, you have to mentally note where you are because you have to manually scrub back to that spot. - The scrubber is super buggy and you'll often be set back to the beginning. -Super clunky interface. -Chromecast sometimes works and other times does not. -App icon not yet compatible with Android themed icon setting. -No way to donate to shows in app.

This app has improved a great deal since I first reviewed it in 2011. Still has a fair number of quirks that can be frustrating, but overall I find it useful. I will say it has become reliably amusing that whenever there's an update, you always know right away because when something gets fixed, another feature mysteriously gets broken as a result. Since I do use this app daily, I appreciate that at least somebody's working on it.

Extremely frustrating and worse with every update. A new update now causes every hourly news update from the day to appear in my feed, causing me to have to skip sometimes a dozen different out of date hourly updates of the same headlines. Borderline unusable for podcasts now. Very sad to see, as someone who's been listening to NPR podcasts for over 6 years.
