About this game

Take your place at the head of a noble house in a kingdom on the verge of ruin. Seek your fortune as a politician, industrialist, rabble-rouser, or conspirator to bring wealth and power to your family – or to save the realm from itself. The choice is yours in the long-awaited sequel to 2016’s Guns of Infinity.

"Lords of Infinity" is an immense 1.6-million-word interactive novel by Paul Wang, author of "Sabres of Infinity," "Guns of Infinity," "Mecha Ace," and "The Hero of Kendrickstone." It's entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

Will you use corruption and intrigue to secure your position amongst the aristocracy, or use the power in your hands to protect those weaker than you? Will you stand for the old ways? Or blaze a trail to an uncertain future. Will you take advantage of an age of disorder to enrich yourself, or risk everything to create a better world? Will history remember you as a paragon? A hero? An opportunist? Or a traitor?

Despite being a little difficult to get the outcome you feel you deserve, this is by far the greatest war and political RPG to have ever been made. A few odd spots are frustrating when it comes to choices and consequences oft come far later than you'd expect. I played through a single route and expect two or three more major playthroughs I wish romance progressed faster but it is far far more realistic than other similar games It could be improved but still is somehow the best cyoa of this type

I loved Sabers and Guns of Infinity because no matter what your shortcomings were as a player or a character, the game had ways to make it feel like you were still progressing in a positive direction. This game has made me feel as if the way I would like to play the game is incompatible with the only reasonable way for my character to play based on the previous choices I've made in the series. I love this game and this series, but it is so frustrating.

An excellent third installment in the series, with a wonderful mix of tenseness and relief; pace and description. It is, also, rather long! And, has great replayability, which is only marred by a seeming inability to save your progress at the end. There are also some game-breaking issues, such as a completed major work (stables). I'm certain that this is something that the developer or publisher will correct (hopefully). I'm thoroughly anticipating the following installment.
