About this app

Get current and precise weather conditions (METAR) as well as weather forecasts (TAF), which are used by pilots for their flight preparations. You can choose worldwide airport weather stations from the built-in database by either name, ICAO or IATA code. Data will be shown in its original format or fully decoded into easy understandable texts.

** NOTE: in order to display temperatures in Fahrenheit, switch off "Show original units"!

Features:
- shows additional information like sunrise/sunset, station location/elevation, timezone, and daylight saving adjustment
- optionally displays all times in GMT or in the station's local time
- supports US and metric units
- display/adding of nearby stations

NEW: Also check out our latest 'Sky MET', a visually stunning and feature rich application for pilots, by pilots.

Even with the latest update this app is full of bugs. Many airports get TAFs for all the other airports in that group presented. In many cases the TAF and runway wind data disappears as soon as you open the airport. In addition, many airports have incorrect data such as runway length or paired runways. Eg 08L with 08R as the opposite end, instead of 26R. Despite reporting these bugs to the developers they seem to make no effort to rectify.

Now some of the bugs have been fixed, its working a little better, however for some airports, its bringing up what look like huge long TAF's, but on closer inspection they're actually for several other airports all grouped under the one airport you're actually looking at. Beware!

I use this app often. Thanks for fixing the issues that apparently came from changes in how the sources of the data provide it. Other aviation apps had similar issues. It's back to working as expected. 1/2/24 The problem displaying TAFs is back. It shows briefly then disappears.
