CLT+ is the City of Charlotte service request and information app.
All communities within Mecklenburg County that receive city services can access CharMeck 311 through CLT+.
Whether you need trash pick-up, want to report a code violation in your neighborhood or a stray animal, CLT+ is designed to meet your everyday needs.
Supported city departments include Solid Waste Services, Storm Water, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Neighborhood & Business Services and Charlotte Department of Transportation.

It's nice to look up my recycling week when the app works properly. More times than not, however, it tells me my address is not serviced even though it is. Sometimes I can enter a different address on my street (I live on a very short street) and it will give me the day, but other times it says that is also not serviced. I live well within the city limits, and the city does in fact collect my trash and recycling. Other than this issue, the app works well.

Step in the right direction. It's nice to be able to look up trash and recycling days. I also applaud the notion of being able to report several things like line of sight obstructions, traffic light timing, dead animals, and bulky item pick up for some examples. I have not tried them yet but I hope the experience is smooth. It would be nice to save my address.

Have submitted several service requests, but each one has been closed very quickly without any action. The app provides requestors with zero details about service fulfillment. I have submitted detailed requests with pictures uploaded and location info, etc. Seeing these requests are never completed makes me feel I have wasted my time. Can't say just how frustrating it is to see broken and damaged infrastructure not repaired by the city - even when directly asked to do so.

What's new

Solid Waste Request Types (Bulky Pickup and Curb it!) now remembers the last address and uses it by default for future requests. This can be disabled in More -> Settings.
