Can not remove time and info bar from top of screen always on while watching a movie

I am editing my review based on the developers response it's good to know that most of the features are free but the launcher doesn't work properly with my minix remote I am unable to long press on any of the tiles to bring up add to favourites for example and navigating the launcher is not impossible with the remote but it is very difficult I can't tell what I am clicking on without using the air mouse feature

So much potential but I'll be uninstalling this before the trial ends. Unless they can quickly let me pick nicknames. Many people who have had YouTube accounts for a long time could be unable to login correctly. Those accounts have two nicknames/profiles under a single Google account. One is called a "Branding" account and mine has all my data/faves. If this is being marketed this towards business owners they may have a branding account like me & I can't sign into it making Sync feature useless.
