About this game

What the heck? Unsuspecting, you open the front door wide to find a box containing … a half-dead cat!? Using smart puzzle skills and clever outside-the-box thinking, you can help Kitty Q to escape her peculiar quantum superposition!

Don’t worry—Anna is there to help you. She’s the great-granddaughter of the world-famous physicist and Nobel Prize winner, Erwin Schrödinger. She will help you guide Kitty Q out of the crazy quantum world. Inside the box, everything follows its own curious rules. It really is an odd world here as Anna explains, but together you get to explore her great-grandfather Erwin Schrödinger’s specialist subject: quantum physics. Every puzzle in the game refers to observations, experiments, or phenomena from this totally unbelievable field of science. It’s a whole new world to discover!

So, you’ll get to know…
· why some tiny particles absolutely contradict all the rules at times,
· which letter will make your math teacher sweat,
· how you look in a selfie with a self-styled, half-dead cat!

In Kitty Q, you will discover more than 20 scientific facts about quantum physics that will amaze everyone.
The quantum adventure Kitty Q has been developed in collaboration with the Cluster of Excellence* ct.qmat and is completely free and without ads or in-app purchases—thanks to the funding of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the initiative ‘Research in Germany’.

*A Cluster of Excellence is a team of outstanding scientists who explore new challenges and unsolved puzzles. The answers that they find could have a crucial impact on our lives in the future. For ct.qmat, quantum physics takes center stage.

Fun, entertaining, and educational. My only two complaints are 1) I will not allow the app to take pictures or record audio on my device. Because of this, every time I touch the mirror, the app gets confused and freezes. I can't even back out of the mirror, open the "phone," etc. 2) There is no settings option to toggle the sound and music on or off. Other than that, good job with app design and function. If those two issues (particularly #1) were fixed, I'd rate 5 stars.

Great puzzle, escape the room, sort of game. Optionally teaches you about quantum mechanics, cute game. im giving it 4 because the game is very short, like under a hour but its free without ads so thats another plus. Note to complete the game you need to use your camera for the mirror part theres no getting around that. (Note to developer google removed supertype from the play store please bring it back. i wanted to play it now it's gone on a newer version of android 😢

Quite a cute game that tease your brain a little. But it's quite a short game. Find it cute when you select 'E' & 'L' buttons on the TV for the channel when different button control different scientists mouth. 😂
