I like it, I don't think any one tool will help you to reach fluency. but from my experience so far its a no frills, non-gamefied experience. I also appreciate that it constantly reviews old material, rather than merely piling more knowledge on shaky foundations. I took a star off because the price seems high ($20 a month) and it quickly puts a up a road block if you don't pay up. sad to see knowledge get put behind a pay wall.

It's been almost a decade since I decided to try and learn French. During that time, I've tried nearly every app and online resource available (both free and paid options). After trying the rest, I can emphatically say that Wlingua is the best. It's the only one I would recommend. Instead of focusing on flashy imagery and useless frills, Wlingua has put all their efforts into teaching users a new language and it does that very well.

I've been using it for 2 days and I'm crazy about it. probably my favorite language learning app I found so far, and I've been studying languages for over a decade. the pace, amount of review, and explanations are perfect. of course not everyone is the same but this is exactly what I was looking for. if you like to go very slow when you're learning, this may not be the best app for you. however, even if you do like to go slow you can meet you lessons as much as you want and review vocabulary too
