About this app

Portable Inventory helps you to keep track of the count of anything you want. Personal stuff, office supplies, product storage, etc. You can add different items into the app, set its initial count, warning count, and separate items by groups.

Each item will be displayed as different colors on the main page, so that you can add or reduce the count. When an item’s count is equal or less than the warning count, a little yellow triangle with an excalmatory mark will be display on the item, and the group it belongs to.

In addition, the app provided various functions to see statistics for your items or groups. You can check out the increasing, or decreasing ranking list of your items or groups in a specified time period. You can also see the change logs for all items and groups.

The app works both on iPhone and iPad, and fully supports iCloud. You may edit your items across all your devices and your data will be safely stored in iCloud. And of course you can wipe out all data as you need.

Ratings and reviews

This is a very simple app with easy functionality. However it does not allow much opportunity to manipulate individual items in the list. Once they are listed, if it's a group of like but not same items, there is no function available to differentiate the items in that group. I am trying make groups within groups and the inventory doesn't function like that. It's a nice initial app, but I would probably get more utility out of another app.

Shame as I've used this app on other platforms and was great. I paid for the premium also. Items when sub listed don't display correctly I get 4 maybe 5 letters of text which makes it impossible to differentiate large lists. I raised with the developer what feels like a long time ago. They quickly replied politely advising they would fix on the next update. Unfortunately Ive have a few updates and the issue remains.

It would be nice to be able to see the entire name of what I type in. Instead of having it in squares, it would be nice to have the option to expand it so it goes across the entire screen. It would also be nice to be able to read the comments when you click on the item, without having to press the edit button.
