As others have said. This is one of syntaxity's weaker entries in terms of puzzle logic. Especially aggregious is an arbitrary use of shears...in a castle full of vegetation. That said, expect the same incredible quality when it comes to graphics and music as their other entries. The clues range from cryptic to moon logic, not to mention a few subtle spot the pixel scene interactions. Overall, not my favorite syntaxity game, but still a superb point and click adventure for phone.

As others have said, this is an okay entry in the series at best. The puzzles are either too easy and too repetitive (e.g. the dials at the rune "generators" where you have to line up the dots), or ridiculously non-intuitive with equally nonsensical hints. I am now stuck at the flute puzzle because the mechanics themselves aren't functioning properly. I even made sure I was playing the notes in the correct order thanks to a video walkthrough, and it still doesn't work. Phone incompatibility?

I really enjoyed Blackthorn Castle 1, so couldn't resist playing this one. If you love point and click adventure games, don't hesitate to download this. The puzzles have varying levels of difficulty, but they are easily solved by looking around, at your camera or in your inventory. I loved playing this game, but Bigfoot scared the bits out of me, he just popped up out of nowhere!
