God, I wanted to love this game. It does have combat that feels just like DW. But that is like 10% of the game. The rest is just events, town building, running around doing quests, and lots of time closing spending pop-ups. The other annoying thing is that there is no way to select your starting general or kingdom. You're stuck with Shu.

I like the game apart from being forced to win the duels against real players and needing to enhance my weapons to progress the story. I need two legendary level 20 weapons, I've spent over a week trying to upgrade one and it keeps falling, over 1000 items worth, the random chance is rubbish and depressing. The characters are about 10x what I'd be willing to pay. Honestly spend more time now grinding rather than slashing mobs which is what I want to do given it's a dynasty warriors game.

Game is fun. It's Dynasty Warriors on your phone. Screen controls a little wonky but doable. Sadly it gets two stars as this game does what every mobile game does now. Where you have to sit and click through their annoying tutorial that you can easily learn yourself if the game would let you. Devs need to stop forcing us to push their tutorial buttons. Let me explore, I don't have the intellect of a fish. Why do I need to be showed joint attacks 4 ******* TIMES?! I get it already!
