Important information about the app:
- To use the app, you need to subscribe to Spotify Premium Family first.
- A Kids profile counts as 1 account in your Premium Family plan. You can create up to 5 Kids accounts for your Family plan, and download the app to as many devices as you want.
- The app uses your device’s internal storage to store downloaded music for offline play.
- The app streams content over WiFi and mobile networks, so check your data package and allowance with your mobile network provider.
- The app asks for your child’s name and age. This is used to showcase the most relevant content for your child and to personalise their experience using the app. Children may see different content, depending on their age. All information is fully encrypted.

Ratings and reviews

I had this app when I was 12, and I hated it because I wasn't able to listen to any songs I like even if they are 100% clean, but it let me listen to songs with swearing and other stuff if the artist is popular. If you search for a song or artist, you can't play any playlists. This app is tasteless and is constantly suggesting Jojo Siwa, Kids Bob, and other annoying child artists. It doesn't have the option to make a playlist or a queue. If you are considering getting this app, don't. It sucks.

So annoying! Most songs aren't the originals even though the song doesn't have any bad words but the kidz bop version is available, and the only way I can download songs is to heart it but if you share a Playlist you can listen to those songs but you can't find that version to heart it? What in the world? Maybe you can give parents options to filter and choose what they want? I get not having explicit versions, but this is ridiculous! Might as well have the regular option and block your own.

Horrible. It's unfortunate that my child is stuck using this app at 12 years old. There are hardly any songs that he is interested in. It's mostly pop, much of which is barely appropriate. There are hardly any good Rock or old Country, except, of course, the popular over-played songs. I wish I had more control of what my child can listen to. I would much rather him have the normal Spotify app, where I could limit explicit content and choose songs he actually enjoys and be able to shuffle.
