There is a switch in settings to turn off personlized ads. Doesn't work. At this point the money you make from users wasting data to download your ads should be reimbursed. Pretty buggy app. You can't even speed up playback. At one time this was a decent app and good cameras. I would not recommend anything from this company anymore. There is a lot better out there for cheaper and free cloud services the life of the camera system some also give free 10 terabytes per system. And yet zero ads.

The only reason for 3 stars is because it worked perfectly until about a week ago. Suddenly ads appeared when opening the app making it unusable for 5 seconds and ads between the screens your viewing. Additionally, more times than not, the app refuses to open. That makes it totally useless when away from the main unit. After several years of reliable service, it is suddenly a pain in the backside! Now looking for a replacement app for remote viewing. To the developers: get rid of the last update

This App became USELESS. It was so good 2years ago, so easy to connect and view the cameras. Wth happened, since I did the update it seems the app has issues connecting. I uninstalled and installed back to app, refresh internet router wifi everything to make sure that was working and still has same issue It just keeps getting worse! It doesnt connect anymore, I'm unable to monitor cameras if I'm away from home. 😡
