I had this before. Good for longer term things that I don't want to leave in memos. Update: The ads have gotten less intrusive and don't stay as long. They have to pay for the app somehow! Added a star for the improvement. I like the simplicity and that it takes little storage. It still won't capitalize for a new sentence, and the type-style features work poorly. There is no underline nor italic. It's hard to paste things. Yet I still prefer it to fancier apps!

Notebooks has been my #1 go-to for all forms of writing since around 2014. Infinite virtual notebooks for anything I want to write, all organized separately on the cool virtual bookshelf, and I can style, edit, or perfect my work in each book as much as I want, when I want. Themes to pick from, a big variety of notebook covers, several fonts and other options. No other app has all these features, offline use, few to no ads, data backup, and more, all for FREE. Affordable version available.

Purchased because I need better organization for my random notes, thoughts, and ideas. The concept is great, and organization is well thought out. But the interface isn't quite there yet. When I select a place to put my cursor, there is an immediate big white rectangle covering up where I just selected. This causes me to be unsure of where the cursor actually landed. Also, editing the font is not that fun, either. It feels like a good rough draft but can improve. Will update as they update
