Welcome to farMove!
farMove is used in public transportation studies to gather travel data, which helps agencies understand how, when, where, and why people travel. Only study participants who have been invited to participate and supplied with an authorization code can use farMove. farMove is a version of rMove designed specifically for long distance travel studies.

Your participation helps planners anticipate, prioritize, and plan future transportation needs. The support website provides additional information, including more information on:
• Privacy and data security policies for protection of your data;
• How transportation planners and decision-makers will use your data;
• How to participate in our studies, including FAQs; and
• How you can provide feedback for improving the app.

Ratings and reviews

This app is literally unusable. It doesn't record any of my trips. When I try to manually add them it only shows AM/PM but no time or date for departure and I can't manually add any trips. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Make sure your app works before you start a research study that relies entirely on your broken app.

Seems to use a significant amount of battery for whatever process it is running in the background. I'm having to recharge in the middle of the day which was not an issue before installing this app.

This is a battery hog. Running in the background, it dropped my battery over 10% a day.
