About this app

I made this app to help you easily understand and find information about music theory. Use the included tools and exercises to improve your ear training, music theory skills and sight-reading.

Please, contact me if you find any problems with the app, or if you want to share your feedback!

Theory
Intervals, chords, note values, rests, circle of fifths, scales, octaves, and various notation symbols (dynamics, articulation etc.)

Tools
Chord builder - generate chords and listen to examples
Scale builder - generate scales and listen to examples
Mode builder - generate modes and listen to examples
Practice Helper (paid feature) - use this tool to randomize scales, keys and chords. It can help you during your practice sessions when you ask yourself "what should I practice next?"

Exercises
Ear training is a crucial part of becoming a musician! That's why Music Theory Helper includes bort ear training and music theory exercises to help you train your skills:
Listening exercises - interval recognition (melodic and harmonic), chord recognition, chord inversions, chord progressions (major)
Reading exercises - note reading (sight-reading), interval reading, chord reading, key signatures, scale formulas

Paywalling features which were previously free is a totally unfair move. You can introduce new features as much as you want, you can make them free or paid as you wish, but leave alone that what was present before. // Edit: And now annoying intrusive video ads. I increase the volume for the training, and then my ears get split by screaming ads. An absolute disgrace. Also, UI issues emerged at some point, like inadequate hyphenation and text not fitting inside buttons. I am dropping this app.

Thanks for your review! I'm sorry about the paywalling, but this is a solo project and it takes a lot of time/money to develop apps Edit: Can you send me a screenshot of the UI issues?

Good app but the video ads are way too intrusive to the point of ruining the experience. Would consider paying a reasonable price, but the subscription model does not make sense.

Extremely helpful and also very organised. It's clear, where to find which information and you can also practise your hearing with intervals, chords, etc. I never really had much to do with music theory, but this was all easily understandable and I'm getting into it now šŸ˜Š Only negative thing is that you have to pay to unlock some features, it's understandable, but still sad :/
