About this app

Mezurio is now part of the GameChanger Study, a collaboration between the UK Alzheimer's Society and Oxford University's Big Data Institute.

Mezurio is an important part of several research studies. The app lets you complete interactive, scientifically valuable measurement tasks. It helps you become an even more valuable part of that research by letting you contribute different kinds of data: quickly, frequently, and from the comfort of your own home.

To use this app, simply download it, then type in the invite code you were given by your research coordinator. At the moment it is only possible to use this app if you are part of an approved, ethically reviewed research study.

Once you’ve joined a study, the app will send you a notification whenever there is a new task ready for you to complete. Most tasks will only take a few minutes of your time.

Thank you so much for using this app. Your data will help our team at the Oxford University Big Data Institute to develop open, freely available, digital approaches to understanding health.

Downgrading my review from there to ONE STAR. This is because I just got an email about stage 2 of the research, went to enter my invitation code that came with the email and it says it is invalid. Come on!!! This is just so stupid. Earlier review: Keeps crashing. Two or three times yesterday, three today. Doing the tilt game. I won't bother continuing to use it until an update comes out. Shame, because I think it's a great idea. I would have given more stars, but not for an unstable app.

I very much support the aims of this app to support research into Alzheimer's. However I have installed it and uninstalled it several times. The first time, it worked for a few days then crashed after an update download. I uninstalled, reinstalled and reregistered but it then crashed again. This piece of software, no matter how worthy its intentions, needs debugging and properly sorting before it can be of lasting use to the researchers.

An amazing idea to assist with the research of Dementia and Alzheimer's... If only the app actually worked! Successfully completed the first few tasks, but then have been unable to get required updates since. There were minor glitches in 2019, 2020 has so many bugs it's making the whole thing pointless. Hope these can be fixed to help with much needed research.
