Mobile app for Oakter’s technologically advanced IoT based smart home products. This app can be used to configure and control following products by Oakter :

- OakView : WiFi Camera
- OakRemote : WiFi Universal Remote
- OakPlug : WiFi Smart Plugs
- Oakter Hub Ecosystem: Home automation ecosystem with smart plugs and smart boxes to WiFi enable all existing electrical appliances in a home

Multiple products at multiple locations can all be controlled by one app. You can also invite 5 more family members to simultaneously use the app.

Ratings and reviews

Have been using this for an year now. Though the app works but not without issues. At times there are communication errors and time outs. You have to press button multiple times to get it to work. The app does not have a good indicator that button is pressed. And it does not look like the app is getting any major updates which is unfortunately.

Product outlook is good, but app is full of bugs. Can't do the setup properly. Error messages are not useful. OTP feature doesn't work. Asks for Wi-Fi password, which I don't understand why and this was a turn off for me. Also asks to connect to 2.5 GHz wifi, which again doesn't make any sense. Couldn't proceed with the setup anymore.
