Chess Ace is a puzzle game involving chess pieces. Its concept of replacing a pawn with different pieces for different movement is interesting, but short-lived. Puzzles have one solution, leaving no room for variation or experimentation. I believe the experience would improve if I can make and share puzzles or if there were multiple solutions and a star rating to reward minimal movement. I'll note there's a time limit mode, but it's also short-lived. To me, its high point is its minimalism. 2/5.

I like the game very much, however some of the moves are not accurate. When brought up as a hint the pawn showed one move for me and the hint moved two. The concept is brilliant for learning chess moves and a real thinker. Keep working on it. Ill check back with it in a few months to play. Button play also can be hacked. Graphics are simple but fine for the quick play.

Great idea but it feels a bit spoon-fed considering the cards/pieces for the solution are defined. Might be harder if there were dummy cards included or if a point system was used instead. i.e. All move-types are available, pawn-moves cost one point, moves as as a king: 3, knight: 3, bishop: 4, rook:5, queen: 6 (testing needed to get the ideal values) Solve using as few points as possible; optimal solution earns you 3 stars. Also, slightly too many ads.

Hi Mike, Thank you very much for the feedback. The rules sound interesting and the dummy cards would definitely increase the difficulty.
