The Arena app allows current Basecamp users to utilize our competitive games King of the Mountain and Climb, anytime and anywhere. Play the games in solo mode or challenge a classmate to a battle of wits. Collectively, the two game modes offer over 5,000 questions designed to assist students to commit critical core academic content to long-term memory. The questions are presented in five unique Mountains (i.e., Musculoskeletal, Neuromuscular, Cardiopulmonary, Other Systems, Non-Systems). The games add a competitive aspect to studying and fully engage students as they learn. See how you stack up to the competition! Students can explore their performance data using the Arena – Scorecard and Leaderboard. Summative data collected in the Arena can be used to direct future remedial efforts. Lace up those hiking boots and let the games begin!

Ratings and reviews

Much easier to go through the questions on the mobile app than the website. Would love to see some more integration of study methods. Also would be really nice to have the option to mute all the little sounds.

Listening to music while learning the material is almost impossible on this app. When I get a question wrong it pauses the music in Spotify even when I turn off arena's in-app sounds and music. It's fine when I'm getting answers correct but is inconvenient when I get answers wrong.

I wish I could say this app is perfect but for the questions using symbols for less than/greater than I often get them wrong because they show up as code instead of >. Please fix this programming error (pixel 4). Otherwise this app is perfect for studying the NPTE.
