Ratings and reviews

A lot of the game is pay to win. It's a base building game. I've been playing for years, and there's still thousands of players that dwarf my base power. Best advice is to find a good alliance and stay active. Once you're attacked, you're basically marked for life unless you move somewhere else on the map or migrate to a different state. Its hard to go solo without an alliance unless you have money to burn. You can still play the game without purchasing, but it's a huge grind which takes years.

Constant addition of new (poorly documented) features that makes you spend more time and money or you are running serious risk of falling behind. Addictive and very much pay-to-win - I've never spent as much money on games per year as I am spending on this one per week, and I am nowhere close to even keep up with an average player. Constant grind to keep up and need to be active (or be kicked out of alliances and guilds) kill the fun and make it a chore - I'm quitting after years of stress play

*This game is not like any of the videos or pictures in the description. There's one screenshot at the end of them, thats what the game actually looks like.* That being said, it's still worth playing. You upgrade your base, gather resources, upgrade your troops and skills to battle other players in various ways. The Doomsday events are a lot of fun. Theres definitely a learning curve but once get the hang of all the features it's very addictive. Oh and no ads ever which is pretty great.
