About this game

"EVERY serious adventure gamer should have played this game." - Adventure Gamers
"WELL WORTH of your time and money" - ACG (Adventure Classic Gaming)

Following the success, media praises and high user ratings of the first adventure of Simon the Sorcerer (also available on Google Play), we proudly present the next instalment.

Just when he thought his life was regaining some semblance of normality, Simon's wonder years are once again turned upside down when the evil sorcerer Sordid returns from the grave with only one thing on his mind - revenge!
Sordid reconstructs his Fortress of Doom and sends a magical wardrobe to fetch Simon, but it accidentally ends up on the doorstep of Calypso, the wizard Simon had to save in the first game. Simon then starts to look for a special fuel that can power back the wardrobe and get him home.
Journey with Simon through this inevitable sequel to the best selling Simon the Sorcerer, as he manages once more to get stuck in a land of twisted fairytales, recycled gags and carbon dated clichés!
With a cast of thousands (mostly woodworm) and enough Swampy Stew to keep an underprivileged country sick for a year, this classic adventure will keep you well entertained until we manage to make another sequel.

Loved the game and how it still able to offend people to this day 😋, i'm from the 80s and unlike most negative reviewers on here able to seperate art/games from reality. Freedom of speech and expression above all. Feel free to "re-imagine" content/games/movies if you like, just like what happened to leisure suit larry, but keep old content intact, stop changing/erasing history.

Just finished the game. It was much longer than I expected with challenging puzzles and an interesting story line. The audio wasn't always synced and it liked to crash at certain spots, but that's part of it's old school charm. However, what kept this from being the five star game it should have been, was the blatant racism, sexism, and ablism. The sexism can maybe be seen as satire, but there are no excuses for the way people of color and people with disabilities were depicted in this game.

MojoTouch, who ported this game, did an excellent job. It works perfectly and my disappointment of the game is in no way connected to the port but rather to the game itself. I played the first game a few years back and remembered it being quite fun. Not one of the best, but definitely enjoyed it. This one however is absolutely terrible. The humor is horrible, Simon literraly sexually harrasses the first female character in the first screen using foul language about her breasts. I understand it is a 25 year old game and standards were different then. But I don't think I've ever seen such a thing in other games, old or new. All other jokes I encountered in the first few hours of the game I played were also either not funny or in bad taste. It seems someone very bitter wrote them, it really kills all the fun in the game. The music is also very annoying. The dialogs are very long and uninteresting. Pace of the game is really slow. And the graphics didn't improve from the first game at all (2 years!! difference). I stopped playing after a few sit downs, amounting to a few hours of playing. I just couldn't continue knowing there are so many better games I could be playing. Just thinking about other well known games of the time, I can't imagine how they could get this so wrong. Look at Day of the Tentacle for example. It was released 2 years before this game and it looks and sounds way more advanced, and of course, much funnier and funner. You should try the first one but be prepared to be disappointed by this one.
