About this app

Switches screen timeout from homescreen, notifications, quick settings.
Lightweight and useful widget for switching timeout of the screen. For every added screen timeout widget you can select one or any of this sequentially switchable interval values:

- 1 second
- 5 seconds
- 15 seconds
- 30 seconds
- 60 seconds
- 2 minutes
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 30 minutes
- Never switched off

It is a WIDGET! (For the homescreen and notifications panel. For Android 7+ added also quick settings tile. The currently active widget is synchronized with the widget in notifications and quick settings).
To add it to your home screen you (usually):
- long press your home screen
- select widget from the menu that pops up
- select "Screen Timeout Widget".

To add to quick settings (Android 7+):
- swipe down the status bar twice
- press 3 dots in the top right corner
- press "Button order" and move the Screen timeout widget tile to the desired place.

Please email me if you have any problems. In the theme of the email write "Screen Timeout Widget":

It does exactly what it says it does... The widget changes the screen timeout setting, which you can find in the Settings > Display > Screen Timeout... If you want a way to quickly adjust that setting, then this is the app you need... It is not a "keep awake" app, though... If your screen timeout setting doesn't work (screen turns off after 5 to 10 seconds no matter what the timeout is set for), then this won't fix the problem...

Please explain what do you want. What is the problem? Which app changes the screen timeout also to 10 seconds?

Galaxy S23+ and app works as described. My only suggestion would be an improved widget icon. The current one is oversized and not shaped like the rest of homepage icons (I know, it's a widget). The edges also look fuzzy, for some reason. Other than that, I'm very happy to have found this app to replace an older one that didn't work on my newer device.

This is exactly what I was looking for, perfect for my needs. Functionally I have no complaints. It does what it is supposed to with no fuss or bother. Aesthetically it could use some improvement. On my Moto G Stylus the widget label doesn't fit in the widget. The widget itself is a tall and narrow rectangle instead of being circular or square-ish, and looks very out of place on my home screen.
